Having beaten the Netherlands twice during the tournament, Jersey finished 3rd behind Scotland and Ireland in the Pepsi ICC Europe U19 Division 1 tournament.
Scotland topped the table and qualified for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup on net-run-rate after shocking Ireland and securing a 83-run victory after an exciting final’s day play of competition.
Four of the continent’s leading teams Ireland, Jersey, Netherlands and Scotland will meet in Jersey for the Pepsi ICC U19 Division 1 where the top team will qualify for
the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2016.
Across nine days each team will play each other twice as they fight for top position to qualify for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup. There will also be an opportunity for the second place side to enter a repechage event to secure qualification to the U19 Cricket World Cup which will be held in Bangladesh between 22 January and 14 February, 2016.
Once again European cricket will be showcased to a global audience through ICC Europe’s partnership with QTV Sports, with daily highlights on ICC Europe TV and wicket clips available at @icc_europe. Live scoring will be undertaken for the duration of the tournament by Cric HQ available on the ICC Europe website.

The Jersey U19 Cricket Team were crowned Team of the Year at last night's Jersey Sports Council Awards at the Mayfair Hotel.
They repeated the Senior Team's performance last year by picking up the Perpetual Team Trophy for winning promotion to European Division 1. The U19s beat fellow nominees Team Jets netball team who picked up the Channel Islands Team of the Year Award earlier this year for which the U19s Cricket Team were also nominated.
The Pepsi ICC Europe U19 Division 1 tournament takes place in Jersey from 11-19 July 2015. Jersey will compete alongside Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.
