U13s Performance Squad 2018

The Jersey U13 Performance squad consists of the strongest players throughout the U12 and U13 age groups. The squad receives 20 weeks of coaching per year throughout the winter and summer months with the highest qualified coaches available on island.

 

In 2018, the squad retained the Inter Insular title for the 5th consecutive year and travelled to Ardingly college for the Arabian Challenge county festival, finishing 5th out of 8 teams.

 

Squad: Stanley Norman (c), Charley Webster, George Richardson, Jonty Waite, Ben Sweetman, Will Perchard, Charlie Brennan, Toby Britton, Sam Watling, Archie McKeon, Jack Stevens, Matt Webb, Will Hodgson, Louis Kelly, Nathaniel Gourlay and Toby Thirkettle.

U15s Performance Squad 2018

The Jersey U15 Performance squad consists of the strongest players throughout the U14 and U15 age groups. The squad receives 20 weeks of coaching per year throughout the winter and summer months with the highest qualified coaches available on island.

 

In 2018, the team travelled to Ireland for a 3 match tour against Northern Knights U15s and Ireland U15s. Jersey didnt manage to register a win on the trip but showed glimpses of the potential that the squad had. Jersey regained their inter insular crown with a convincing 10 wicket victory over rivals Guernsey.

 

Squad: Josh Lawrenson (c), Dylan Kotedia, James Sunley, Patrick Gouge, Jamie Watling, Robbie Forrest, Toby Clark, Asa Tribe, Fraser Crow, Stan Tanguy, James Smith, Robin Carnegie, George Daniels and Charlie Reid.

U18 Performance Squad 2018

2018 was a quiet year for the U18 squad having retained their place in ICC European Division 1 in 2017. Every 2 years the U18 squad compete for a place at the ICC U19 World Cup against teams from Ireland and Scotland along with 3 qualifiers from Division 2.

 

Jersey did play 2 fixtures in 2018 against county opposition from Hampshire and Somerset. The team fell short in the first fixture against Hampshire but bounced back with a convincing win against Somerset the next day.

 

The squad are due to play another World Cup qualifier in 2019 but the dates and venue are yet to be decided.
